One of these days I'll find out what it's like to touch off one of them 50s. I've got an empty casing from the deck of the Nimitz.

i loved shooting my Lar Grizzly. Didn't want to sell it but i got a trade offer for 2 really nice matching remington 798's, one of which i had been eyeballing for a LONG time. had to make the trade.

Not a hog killer yet, just a raccoon killer, but hopefully will be this fall (the hogs finally showed up!)

6.8 SPC II 18" Wilson Combat SS barrel with Troy forearm, Aero Precision lower. RRA Two-Stage trigger with a Magpul stock. Pulsar N550 is now on the rifle.

Kudos to Dave in ABQ for helping me build my favorite rifle!

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Took it out today running some Federal XM68GD 90 gr pills and had a blast!

Shot the Federal 90's and Hornady 110 HPBT's to the same zero today.

Looking forward to the next couple of months to shoot some pigs!

It's very easy to give up most any rifle for a 6.8 SPC II AR-15.

Unless you're hunting moose, elk, or brown bears it seems to me the 6.8 is the way to go in the lower 48.

Well mine was an issue of need and $$ also where I am hunting. so 2 6.8's, 44 mag and a rifled barrel in a 12ga. All I need to add if I decide to go that way is an AR-10 or bolt 308. Have my 12 and 20ga bird guns and .22 Sig 522 and revolver so feel like I can get things done. Money is always the issue.

Sensational collection Sir!
I have a Remington 700 with Leupold scope and AICS stock also and really, its accuracy is enviable!
Congratulations!
