I have considered getting another one. It was so much fun to shoot. I was stacking shots at 50 yards with no troubles at all. I was shooting Winchester silver tip 260gr hollow points. Everyone I know that got to shoot mine hates that I got rid of it

Sweet, what is that red under the hand guard?

It's JP's thermal dissipator system. The barrel is reverse contoured so it's actually thinner under the handguard. The red is anodized aluminum cooling fins which surround that thinner part of the barrel. This keeps the throat area running about the same temp as the rest of the barrel. More ideal for competitive shooting / high volume shooting really. The most accurate gun I've ever owned.

Welcome to the site. Your not alone with the 6.5. I think Brian Shaffer uses the 6.5 almost exclusively.

You're not alone. There is Brian Shaffer, Drift, Customcutter(me), and you. Not sure if there are any other 6.5 Grendel fans or not. Brian is Double Naught Spy on the 6.5 Grendel Forum. Are you a member there?
Just saw this is an old post
