That is pretty funny. The ScottCountry video has been out for a while now, but Youtube just sent out the notices today for the video. So that means that ATN got their notice and reposted. Sheesh, they are behind the curve here as well.

Yeah I had seen the video when it came out, They reposted w sound the other day and ATN who can't edit their own video in 2 days, posts it like it is new. I keep badgering them on FB, I am surprised I have not been banned.
Still no reticle, I see. So that is their idea of tests from the range? They put a guy in white clothing and reflector tape and had him run back and forth?
I think they are using an illuminator as well based on the reflected light off the glasses. I don't know about the reflective tape, but that may be an indicator as well.
Also notice that it it brighter at 200 yards than 250.
I would also suggest that they are running the guy back and forth on a blacktop to make him stand out better.

In that case, the illuminator is a POS and the imagery is not impressive or the NV capability just isn't that good.
LOL, that was right there in the video and I was watching the guy and not reading the text. That I sat there and tried to figure out the illumination is pretty funny as it illustrates that I missed the stated information, but also because the illumination appears so weak as to make me question whether it was the illuminator or the moon providing the illumination.

Well at this price point. But there lies the problem.

Right now its beat by iron sights.
Not HD, but better in the dark would be the new Photon XT. You would have to put an external DVR with it to record. I handled one this evening and liked it.
Basically, it looks like the X-sight has very poor NV capability even with the IR Illuminator ATN is suggesting for it. That isn't good. It may be beautiful in the daytime, but the night imagery was pretty poor.

The X-sight in B&W will be great to 200-250 and that is all I need. I would have already popped on the Photon but I want an integrated recorder and not another $200 expense. I have already seen all the missed shots using a MDVR from all you folks with pulled out cords, forgetting to turn on and other missteps plus I don't want something else hanging off my rifle. I do admit Dave's new mount may help that somewhat but it is still another expense.
