Man I love the looks of the big 100mm lens on a thermal

Around these parts it's not real practical range wise though not a lot of big open areas, so I stick with 1-3X scopes myself.

It's only 4x and has plenty wide fov even at 50 yards. It has been very impressive. The main advantage to the bigger lens is the detection abilities. I used it today and saw the lines on the targets and was able to sight it in with no heat source that was a first for me.

The Apollo LR Pro 100mm 640 in front of the Vortex Razor 1x6 at 4x I can still see the entire screen at 6x its about the same view as I have at 3x on my normal apollo! This thing is sweet!!!! Ive already had a million comment asking about the offset it does not show in the scope it looks perfect!

I'm going to try and get yall video of each unit side by side the rain is fine with the pro line they are waterproof to 20 meters the DVR not so much.

this was a screenshot taken from a video I took with a FLIR t50...330 something resolution......This hog walked out 8 yds in front of me....this was the "OH SH!T" look he gave me about 3/4 of a sec before he got shot. I can't wait to use the 640...I will be running video, got everything except a cable and Dave ABq is my go to in that

The armasight pro line is very impressive compared to other brands' offerings. Lots of new options to fit your particular needs and the price point on them is pretty good.
Though I still think a 1.5x or 2x 336 resolution clip on with 50 mm lens 30 Hz would be a great compromise in price, versatility and performance for a lot of night hog hunters on a nv/thermal budget.
