Great Cat, supposedly have panthers here, never see one and the FL FWC says there are none...but there are!

So? Do the regs state that you're NOT allowed to kill "what isn't there"?

Way to go Florida. Go ahead and let them damned bears tear up hundreds of $$'s worth of feeders and game cams because of the tree/bunny huggin' libatards.

We're overrun with them down here...no season...no hunting allowed. How utterly stoooopid. --- pruhdlrsecuredownload.jpeg securedownload.jpeg

BTW....if even a medium sized bear wanted your/my roll bbl, it would be gone.

When guiding in Maine we used 55gal drums for our bait. They were chained to a tree. A bear got one of mine one day and I eventually found it 200yds away, across a deep water creek and thru some of the thickest alder swamp that you could find in the whole state. He will move it as far away as possible to keep it from other bear.

If a black bear wants your stuff........... he will get your stuff.....GUARANTEED !! --- pruhdlr

You can shoot cats here the same as hogs 24/7 day or night.

They are generally believed to not have much of a presence north of lake county. Which is pretty much dead center of the state. I don't believe that. They cover
So much ground and are solitary. Even down in collier, glades hendry and Monroe counties where there populations are the biggest they are rarely seen. I have friends that have seen them during the day in big cypress. My brother has seen lots of sign of them plenty north of what the FWC designates as there normal range.
In any case, they're fully protected from harvest statewide.
