I just got back from a quick spot and stalk and the whole time I am trying to remember to shoot 6" over the pig at close range. Too strange for the brain after all those years of shooting. Also at long range have to shoot low....it's very strange indeed!

How high above the bore does the dot sit (within the reticle)?

What? Don't confuse me even more. lol For crying out loud I just want to hit where I aim and kill stuff! Is that too much to ask for?

Just trying to help with your question on why you'd have to aim so high at close range. The higher that dot sits above the centerline of the bore, the more dramatic the need to change POA at close range.

Oh. Well then, I take back all my rants in that case.
