I created a cable using this info for the pinout and found it to be mostly helpful but missing info. I was wanting to not only create an extended battery, but to also have the video in and out work as well. The Armasight DVR I have was a freebee and the sales rep said it was a prototype. I bought the Zeus 336 almost 5 years ago so I'm not sure if it's wired the same as everyone else. The main thing I learned for my situation was that pin 4 (yellow) had to be shorted to pin 5. I'm not sure why, but after I saw the short in the factory cable connect and I tried it, it fixed the video runaway issue I had and now all is good. I can try to upload a pic of my schematic if anyone is interested. I used premade 8 pin connectors from Binder Corp and a rechargeable powerbank with a DC step up booster. I had to put a capacitor across the outputs to keep the video image from rolling because of noise.
