Last night was like all my hunts so not much to tell. I spot them with thermal, make the stalk and shoot them. Only difference is one of these is the biggest I've killed in a while. The moon was to my back, lighting me up and I was out of hay bales to hide behind so I had to take a further than normal shot @ 120 yards. He measured 46" so 260 lb and had cutters over 2".

Your killing me Eric! Nice job! I see by your shirt, it was getting a little warm by the second hog. You need to take a break and let me kill some for you. Lol

The smaller one was actually first and it was warm. Around 1:00 it cooled off and the big'n came out just before 3:00

I see you don't have the new slayer with you yet. Do you need me to break it in for you? I won't charge you for it. :)

Good hogs. The only thing we need is videos, so time to change the scope setup lol.

Dave, my goal is an L3 LWTS but that may take a little while.

Blake, I hit him in the front shoulder the first shot. He bolted but was injured. Because of the hay bales he made it about 30-40 yards before I could get the second shot on him that one was right in front of the shoulder.

Thank ya sir!

BRD as lawman said it is a L3 PVS-24. It's a small light weight clip-on NV for the 4x magnification range.

I like it because it is so small and light. Plus you can use on any day optic that has a rail in front of it. The draw back is that in really lowlight situations you need an illuminator because the front objective is on the smaller side. On a good night you can push them to 6 maybe even 8x on the scope but your resolution will suffer.

Are Digital and thermal OK day time and no NV is? making the clip ons desireable?
