I haven't heard good thinks about the alpha. It takes a huge learning curve, expensive and only works with 1 type of collars.
The Astro 320 works with 3 different collars, dc 30,40&50.

Learing curve lol, I never read the manual, I track my dogo and my friends walker at the same time, never opened the manual yet...

sure the Astro works with the older stuff, but you know how technology is, lots more features to the Alpha
