We used to do some calling out in the deserts around Las Vegas when I lived out there. A mixed bag out there. Sometimes they were really hard to find

LED illuminators can still give off a red "glow" at the source of light if you are directly in front of it. Pigs dont seem to mind it much, but when I light up deer from close range they seem to know something is going on.

They cant see the beam but they can see the red at the source. They had already made me but didn't know what I was, being camouflaged and down wind at night. The red light gave them confirmation lol.
