The blackout would be good for residential areas. Lot less power but very quiet.

90% of our shots are under 100 yards and 75% of those are under 50 yards. I don't need the reach and I go for as many head shots as I can. Running will be anywhere from the head to rib cage if I make contact. Heck I'll shoot'em in the butt if I have to to slow them down!;)

We all run suppressed for safety more than anything. When a group is together we can stand 3' apart and not worry about blowing ear drums out. That and its hard communicating quietly with ear protection. A suppressor will also reduce recoil and in most cases add so velocity. I just chrono'd my bolt gun the other day and the can added 21 FPS.

Hmmmm... I know a couple of machinists. One's retired and has a full blown shop in his basement... the other closed his shop and opened up shop in his garage.
I've been machining 80% lowers on my mill and engraving them using my CNC Engraving machine....no more buying registered lowers
