I was shooting a pellet gun and just trying to catch the squirrel getting hit. He jumped out of view of the camera between frames. I went back frame by frame and in one he's there and the next he's gone. Just isn't fast enough to catch it

Your doing something wrong then. I can catch doves getting hit at 30 and 60 frames per second. The w1000 video of shooting squirrels was only 30fps. Are you sure it was not in time lapse mode??

Yeah, it was taking video. Might be I had it too close. It was only about 2 feet away. I'll have to keep testing it

Should not make a difference I've captured exploding targets at that range.

I tried it twice and both times when the squirrel was hit it was off frame instantly and didn't show anything. Looks like I need to do more testing
