Afalex1 came down last night to hunt with my friend Mike and I, and he graciously let us drool over his new Zeus, very impressive! We recovered 8 boars, including 5 of a sounder of 6. Good times !

I took my son out for his first hunt with night vision last night. We stalked up on a very large sounder, but there were a couple closer to us that we didn't want to spook so we set up hoping they would come back across in front of us. I was also concerned on how my 10 yr old would handle follow up shots as this was first night - vision hunt and one of the first time he has hunted with an AR. I let him take the first shot which he landed, then he did a great job on follow up shots as they ran around and past us. We dropped a couple then a group of 15 or so piglets kept circling by us, we put out lots of lead but not a lot of kills on the piglets. Total recovered 2 last night and only 1 more today (deep grass and lots of field damage) But good father/son time had and 3 less pigs.
