Thanks guys, just doin' my part, lol. Dan, these were on separate places, about 10 miles apart. It was about 3am when I got home yesterday morning - only a couple hours sleep made for a long and not too productive day at work yesterday. But I got caught up on sleep last night - just in time for weekend hunting! (wife rolls eyes.....)

That may be even more impressive. I would have gone home to bed after the first one. lol

First hog with the Zeus I purchased at the end of last year. The hogs are mostly staying on the neighbor's property to the south of us and he has cattle so I have been having to get adventurous with my stalking routes and extra careful with my shots. Last night at around 1AM, a decent sized sounder was mixed in with the cows and seemed pretty happy to hang out among them. I could see this from the front of the bunk house I stay in, so I went back inside and checked again in a half hour, no change. Took a one hour nap, check again and they had separated to the east. As I stalked towards them from the east, they got back into the cows. Basically just sat down for about 15 minutes and they eventually made it back out to the west. Got within about 75 yards and just as they started fast trotting away, shot this little one, about 120#. Had a decent opportunity for follow-on shots but didn't take any due to proximity to cows.
Another sounder was in the same place this morning at 7 but I had some work to do. Hoping to see them again tonight.
