It's my Lucky shirt, makes all the difference. But I've just noticed my hunting buddy is wearing the same color shirt in every picture, so maybe it's his lucky shirt!?!?!

I received an email letting me know the new corn silage pile that I'm supposed to be protecting has taken a direct hit. Stupid hogs are trying to make me look bad! I had no choice but to go on the offensive, I stalked up on the pile last night around 10 but they had not arrived yet. I assumed they were in the tall grass high twoing over last night's attack. I scanned with the pulsar Thermal monocular and caught a glimpse of them moving across the 3' tall field, I would see 1 then nothing, see 3 then nothing. I walked to the middle of the field and waited till they came to me. The 3x magnifier on the pvs-14 being weapon mounted is making me much more lethal. It was the first time I sincerely thought "I wish I could have videoed that!". The 6.8 and 120 SSTs did their job well as always. I was only able to recover these 2 sows but will return to see what the buzzards can help me with today. Corn silage protected at least for the night, home in bed by 1am. A good night. Caught this old boy in the road and chased him into the brush, 9mm, 147gr Ranger Biggest one I have seen really thick, put the old size 10 boot there for perspective

I've heard of baiting them, but a whole silage pile is a little overkill isn't it?

Lancer took all the photos with his phone again. I'm sure he will upload them soon. I'm working on the thermal video clips.
