Hey Frank!
Here we paid around $ 8USD for 44lbs of corn. And as the capybara, you can not shoot them because their hunting is prohibited! Unfortunately in Brazil, the only animal that has the released game is the boar. Dumb laws of anti-guns!
That is crazy as some of our laws here...is there anything the capy is good for??
I cannot believe you pay more for corn than we do. Last year is was $11.00, this year I bought bulk at $5 but it has gone up because the farmers are holding it instead of selling till the prices go up.

The price we informed you is the highest value found here in my city.
If I buy corn directly with the producer, this price drops to less than half.
Frank, I particularly prefer to shoot the boar. Capybaras not appeal to me! What I like to hunt is a deer but it is also forbidden here.
Really? why are deer not allowed, are there too many and or pests in farmers crops? I be the Capy tastes pretty good they eat our nutria the second largest rodent here in Louisiana, but those folks will eat anything...lol

I would get a good paintball gun and a night vision scope and splat those Capabari things. If everyone used a different color you could keep score.

Its hard to follow that up..... I admit Im having a bit of "Hog Envy" over here. Way to go Andre
I did however manage to get a first Hog blood with my new gun tonight. A DRT would have been better, and I imagine Ill be able to track it down next weekend between the smell and the buzzards. I however wasn't about to try to track it into the brush along the creek in the dark, especially without thermal. I was very excited to find a small blood trail. Blood on the ground = A Good Hit! There was a whole sounder, and 1/2 of them were circling around me, & under the deer stand I just moved onto the site today. Thanks to Lonepunman for lending me a pair of his Green LED Kill lights, I've got mounted over my feeder, I was able to take the shot without using my gun light.
