11 Hogs, 3 Hunts, 3 Hunters, Videos From Each

This was my first hunt with my new Silencerco Omega suppressor and it worked quite nicely.

I hunted with Dave, Colorado Brian, and Paul on Saturday night up in Montague County. It was a good hunt. We got into hogs 3 times, each with its own challenges, some of which where situational (stalking, cattle, etc.) and some were technical (DVR issues, malfunction). It all worked out in the end.

At the end of the hunt, we got on to a small sounder and managed to take out 3/4s of the hogs. This was the same field we hunted the previous week where we took out two pregnant sows, the field that had over 20 acres of rooting damage. Well, in the week that has passed, the rooting damage is more extensive and covers a larger area, only a whole bunch of hogs won't be coming back.

All 8 of the hogs from the smaller hogs from sounder are being utilized fully for food and backstraps were taken from the largest boar (#9). Only the two lone boars were donated to the Turkey Buzzard Preservation Society.

Lmao! PEEW PEW!! Nice shooting! Awesome video.. Great hunt!
I think this is my favorite one of your videos

Nice video! You must teach the hogs gymnastics down there. I'm seeing lots of flips and rolls!

Bwaaaahahahahahah!

Loved the "pew, pew, pew"!

Good job!

that was fun, circus pigs and a comedian pew pew pew..very entertaining

Must've been A.B. doing fly-bys in those clips, to help with herding the hogs for ya. He was all over the place to give an assist here/there.

Wow that first hog did an extreme flip... Some good shooting by all! Happy hunting!!

Another fine job on Hog Control!!

Stellar sound effects bwhahahaha...
Lots shooting opp!
Favorite part "little help here..."

Good shooting! The extra camera views were fun to watch.

The extra views were cool. It always amazes me of just how much a single shooter may be missing in a complex hunting situation such as with a sounder. I know when I am looking through my scope, that is my whole world view at that time. I occasionally look up from the scope to see what the other shooters are doing, if they have moved and such so that we are staying safe, but that tells me almost nothing about what they are seeing and what is going on in the worlds of their scopes. It is neat to see the same situation from multiple views and how each hunter scans through the hogs to select particular targets - what hog looks good for me to be shooting and what are my other options if this hog is out of position when it comes time to shoot?

Both of the other shooters are somewhat new to hunting with DVRs and so video management suggestions were made after the neither of the guys were ready with video on the first hog. By the time we got to the sounder, the whole video management problems were all resolved except for Paul's sound issue, which we didn't discover until after we got in and the hogs were being cleaned. He now has that corrected, LOL.

Heck ya!!!! Some fine shootin there guys. A nice acrobatic routine and a couple fine Curly Shuffles to boot!!! CSMF!!!! BANG BANG!!!!

well done. good coordination for the crew.

i noticed col brian's and paul's guns didn't jump as much with each shot. were they shooting 223s? some of those cans heat up pretty quick with each shot.

i think PEW PEW could be as effective for you as curly's BANG BANG. maybe a signature line? and of course i must compliment you on your choice of crosshair color!! a lot of experts use that.

i hope you gave big bird a tick and flea bath when he got home.

hey... aren't you the founder of the turkey buzzard preservation society? where's your banner?

and don't worry about the jams colorado... they'll make you famous!

Some fine shooting Brian. The other guys didn't do to bad either. I'm sure there were more than 9 pigs hit or should I'd pew'ed? lol
