Actively considering a Armasight 640/75, but unsure of whether to get a 30 or 60 hz model. Will occasionally be driving around to look for animals in addition to standing hunting, and will use an AR10 in 7.62.Like the title says baring unforseen circumstances who here will buy a night vision or thermal in the next 365 days? If so I have some questions?
1. What will you be buying night vision, thermal, or both?
Thermal only
2. What will you be using the equipment for?
Hog hunting and general varmint shooting.
3. Do you have a specific unit in mind if so which one?

Ive had no troubles with the 30hz units driving and scanning. 60hz will run the batteries down twice as fast.

Well - I did it..
Talked to Aaron at Night Combat Solutions - and spent some $$,$$$.
I have:
- Zeus Pro 640 100mm - 30hz on order,
- Pulsar HD38A in hand now, and
- PVS-14 also in hand now.
- Team Wendy helmet on order.
I carried the Pulsar out to my lease to check it out. Really amazing. Checked out cattle in both white & black hot to about 400-500yds.
Can't wait to get my Zeus and start whackin' hogs and yotes with my 270AR..
