Went back after them on Saturday. Must have moved up 4-5 sounders and a couple of large boars. I got very close, but won't take a shot unless it is perfect. This one was a perfect shot. I actually thought I missed because this sow did not move an inch for a couple of seconds, and then she just fell over and barely moved.

Really glad to see that Mini is working for you sir.
First one I has was a pre "Ranch". I had an abandoned elevated railway bed in back of my house in Maine. Used to walk that for miles armed with my unscoped Mini and a backpack full of M193 ammo.
I still own two Mini's chambered in 6.8SPC and 300BLK. Great "walk about" guns.

Must've managed to slide between all ribs, hit vitals, and hypovolemia took over. Fun to watch 'em (any critter) get that look of: "Did I just get stung by a bee?", and then just die. If only it happened more often.
