Ten minute hunt

I was asked to by the landowner to tag along on a hunt with some folks that travel down from Arkansas once a year to hunt. They drove overnight and arrived at the gate right at 4:30am. We split up into pairs and I was paired up with a guy that had yet to kill a hog. I put him behind my rifle and set off in a location I thought would be most lucky that time of morning.

Needless to say...it worked out! Ten minutes from the time we opened the gate this 240lb boar took a dirt nap. We saw him on thermal from about 400 yds out. A dead night let us stalk up to about 40 yds before we dropped the hammer on him. He was quite stoked to get such a hog for his first kill!

he should be stoked. Some guys never shoot one as nice as that,

Way to go !!! Fine hog there. And, to be a FIRST hog too? A hunt of a lifetime there.

I hear he also had dinner with a beautiful Asian coed on the way back to Arkansas...
