In need of a taxidermist

I shot a bobcat with my bow a few days ago. I want to get it mounted but the full body going rate seems to be 1k. Didn't know if anyone on here had a taxidermist they use and possibly a little cheaper.

Full body mounts are outrageous. Colby with a bow that is one great feat. I'm just going to send mine off and have a trappers pelt made from it.

I went to southern wings taxidermy in huntsville texas. Got a full body for $600. They had a lot of completed mounts and I was impressed with their work, and was excited to save some money!

We paid 1500 a few years ago in kingsville at Hibler's but ours was very well done. I've seen lots of budget jobs that looked horrible. The face of a cat always shows the good work of a taxidermist, or lack there of.

I think cats may be a difficult mount to do, getting the face right, have seen a lot of messed up ones.

No problem, I'll take some pictures the next time I am around it. It'll probably be about a week though.
