Got a 7'11" and a 9'10". My guide processed the big one and the little one is in my freezer. I did my first gator skinning

Cool. Way to go. I've always wanted to shoot one legally! LOL

Season starts in April here in Texas just get a tag from your local warden they are free. 45-70 worked great lol

it would be so much easer here if we were allowed to use rifles but I can see where that would be a problem since our gator hunts are over night

I'm not sure. I need to figure out a way to tell the weight. It is the largest hog I have shot. It was too heavy to move so it stayed were it fell.

It was interesting hunting with an openly gay couple but they kept the mushy stuff at bay. Ill write up a story later!
