Looking good Frank. I did some further research and went back to my game camera. I did a head count prior to and after this pic was taken. It is one of the fawns and yes Brian is right. It is further away and a tree shades that area.
Checked cameras this weekend. Most of what we are seeing are what dad calls JAP's (just another pig), but this boar has been hitting one feeder almost nightly. He's got the characteristics of a really big boar and looks to be a real trophy.
Another Sus Venator hog for sure. That one may make the magical 300 pound mark if not more. I'm just saying that by the way he is built. A whole lot of body and short legs.
Not positive if this is the same hog, but it appears to be. We've hunted this place a long time and have never heard of, nor seen a cut hog. Don't think there's much of that this out this way.
