The hotter loads facilitate flatter shooting from a 6.8. However... I keep seeing impressive kills with lower velocity ammo (compared to a hot load), or longer distances with the hotter stuff. I'm beginning to suspect this bullet caliber kills "more gooder" when it's not on fire in flight.

Looks good. And sounds good too.

I'm sure I missed it in the video, but what Bullet were you using?

Looks good Todd. I would like to see how it performs when you get into multiple pigs.

Can you chrono the load to verify the box velocity ?

For than weight bullet in a 556 case it seems "up there" as RD stated though there is something working right with the combo.

I shoot a 243 pill in a 556 case 80gr bullets and I want to say my velocity was about 2600 when I ran out of case capacity.

Interesting wildcat

I did chronograph it and it was within a few feet of the claimed velocity. My 120gr 6.8 has it beat by 100 fps.

I found just the opposite using my sbr I'm loosing about 200 fps vs my 16" 6.8 which is about where the wolverine is. I have more DRT kills with the extra velocity. These were all well placed shots.

"experts are finding feral swine in every county" - wow, wonder how much that study cost?
