Is this a "dip" process or a heat shrink to fit film?

it goes on like a sticker. You use a heat gun to mold it around curves. The heat also activates the glue. I got to taking with the gunskins people and was asking about how much heat abuse the wrap on a barrel could take. He wasn’t sure it would hold up to mag dumping a few hundred rounds but didn’t say it wouldn’t. I decided to test it out. I took my Tnw and put on the 9mm barrel. I shot 200 rounds through it in a fairly controlled speed. The gunskin held up perfectly. I love these wraps

Last time I shot was two years ago when I killed my Mule Deer buck in Montana. Getting TO a range I'm willing to do business with, or, being able to go when they're available to me... this has been a constant challenge. The easiest one to access is about a 3 hour drive (one way). Closer ones aren't convenient for times, or, are ones I refuse to do business with, due to their prejudicial attitude towards the AR platform.

I am lucky enough to have a close friend that has a range on his empty property about 20 minutes from me. It’s great for now but as the town keeps pushing further and further north I don’t see many more years of being allowed to shoot out there

It’s not a huge range but there are 2 ponds on the property with some really nice bass in themEF82701D-EE46-4305-973B-799CB84BE6DA.jpegD04D648B-2EEE-46C2-AFF6-B447849B9EC6.jpeg

Nothing like a concrete shooting bench for stability. Good lookin' worm-getter there.

That table makes it so easy with the lead sled to sight in a rifle. Everyone I know has me sight in their rifles. The range is 50 yards. I have found that’s the perfect distance

2CBCD63E-514B-483E-8D1A-B37BAF3F191D.jpeg Wrapped the M&p shield. It didn’t come out perfect. My heat gun died half way through wrapping it. Had to finish it for now with the wife’s hair drier. I’ll get a new heat gun this weekend and clean it up a bit

So in my wrapping adventures I decided since a friend has left his muzzleloader with me because he can’t figure out why it won’t shoot I would wrap it for him. This is what happens when you drop off a gun with me and say “fix this, it doesn’t work”. Hope he likes it

So I love the Glock 20 but a friend offered me a trade I couldn’t say no to. So I traded my Glock 10mm……. For a Glock 10mm67A202A3-5DDA-48FD-BD5B-A6E3D5607234.jpeg

Well I have both the Glock 40mos and the m&p 40 sighted in. Both shoot great with the red dots out to 30 yards. I need to practice at longer distance62EC8627-A65B-4B39-A37F-13A71FDE17BD.jpeg
