Varies from year to year, mainly due to storms. Last year it took longer to freeze, not because it was warm... the wave action from storms kept piling it up after breaking it up. A week and a half ago, we had hurricane force winds for a few days. when it died down, it iced right up. We're sure NOT seeing fewer polar bears... like some would have you believe.

Yeah, bastards think expanding the background checks to private transfers is gonna be the next miracle to end all gun violence. The other bill, forbidding more than Federal law imposes... that one is losing. The election isn't even finished tallying, and they're talking an "assault weapon ban". Idiots.

Sorry for your pain, I see MS and AL both widened their gun laws for the better, so that is good. Abbot in TX says if an open carry bill gets to his desk he will sign it.
