does the top one have a shelf stop in the chute?

the second one yes, but the top one looks like it just drops the protein on the ground.

Reason I ask is there are four of them at our club. The guy who delivered them said they were hog proof.

I've got a pic of one standing on hind legs eating from a spin feeder so I doubted that claim.

No hogs at this club.... Yet. But they are very close.

yeah they're both just gravity protein feeders. The top one has adjustable baffles in each chute which we leave about 2" open. The majority of pigs will feed on what falls to the ground, but the taller pigs (pictured) will feed directly from the chutes

any chance that you could put some tape on the legs every foot off the ground for reference?

the largest boar coming in, his back nearly brushes the chutes. But yeah, thanks for the suggestion BigRedDog, we need to measure that height!
