Uvalde Hog Genocide The Trilogy

I have worked in the oil patch there , hunted and traveled through, never saw a hog years before (70's) sorts amazed in that dry environment, unless they floated the river, how or why they went there.

It is pretty baffling. My ranch is even more desolate and much rougher terrain, but their population has exploded the past few years. 5 years ago we had no hogs. Last year I shot about 100 off my place.

Amazing they could find enough to eat at least as far as I remember the land.

Seeing that many hogs there shows there is something they like about the place, and being on a river that acts like a hog highway. My bet is other sounders will move in to the area within a month or two.
