This "PC" "BS" has gone too far and needs to be put in place.

I say the principal needs to be placed on a black list, so if someone breaks into his house no one responds to the call. Police officer not allowed to wear uniform on campus? Bah.

They have apologized and ask the officer to speak about police work now.

I key word searched the policy manual for the district and read several sections. I cannot ascertain that the officer did anything wrong relative to the policies of the district. Anything that he could have done in regard to this issue that potentially was in violation would be in violation of state law and the policy of the district is to report to law enforcement in such matters...which they did not do. Apparently, this was not a legal issue. So, basically the principal got one or more complaints and stepped outside of the scope of policy to make his own policy that was not congruent with district policy. I think the principal may need a semester off to rethink employment and career goals.
