Photo Jan 07, 15 54 46.jpg Had a crazy week at work so the wife let me go to our property by myself on a trophy doe hunt. Been hunting with the kids all season. I got to use two guns I haven't hunted with yet. The first doe was taken with a Sig 10mm P220 using Sig ammo. I shot her at about 3:30 then moved to a second blind and used my suppressed POF 308 with Fedral 165 Trophy bonded ammo. She showed up at about 5:30. The frig is close to being full.

It depends on the county your hunting in. North and Central Texas general season already ended. South Texas general season ends next weekend. Then it's spike and antlerless for another few weeks. For those on our MLD Program, it ends the last day of February regardless of location within the state.

35 yards. Lots of blood where she was standing. She ran about 15 yards after being hit.

This is where she was standing when I shot her. More blood than most of my rifle kills. I really like the 10mm so far.

I bought my wife a Glock 20 in 10mm a couple years ago and I can't stop shooting it. It's my standard side arm when pig hunting.
