A good friend took me out to his hunting lease for my birthday. Never dreamed I'd have a 240 pound surprise waiting for me there. We sat in separate stands about 500 yards from each other. He could watch down into a valley and I sat at the south end of it. Around 9:30 pm he called me on the walkie-talkie to say he had spotted this boar way off in the distance but headed my direction. Sure enough I picked him up and decided to let him walk in as close as possible to the feeder. Then the cows became a problem! I hope the land owner never sees this because he will be thinking I shot a little too close to his cows. Maybe, but after 20 minutes my patience had given out. The first video is interesting to just watch the boar's interaction with the cattle. The second video is of the kill shot after a long wait. This was the only hog we saw all night but it was a great time and great hunt!
