Went down to the ranch for some Memorial Day R&R. Baited the roads the 1st evening and then went out for some frog gigging. Ended up with 25. Could have caught way more but left them for breeding stock. These are all XL grade jumbo stock.



Yesterday evening went out for pigs but wasn’t much moving. Caught 1 sounder heading for the rice before dark. Shot 5 out of the that group. Late night thermal hunting only yielded 1 lone boar hanging around a wallow.

Love watching them frog legs kick when dropped into a hot skillet! Been a LONG time since I enjoyed a plate of those. Yum
