Our goal for the night was hogs, but coyotes were all over the place. We finally decided we need to go after one if we were going to get to shoot at all and it turned out to be two opportunities.

We had not seen hogs all night until one ran out in front of us on the road. My first thought was that it was a great dane. So we almost got a hog kill, a vehicular kill, but that was it.

That dog may still be breathing, but, he's got a smokin' tattoo if he is. One down, is "more gooder" than none.

And yeah, that second prairie poodle most likely now has a 'dueling scar' with which to impress the ladies.
