Went out last night ahead of the storms. I figured that based on current speeds, I could have had as much as 3 hours of hunting time. It turned out to be a good bit less. I got onto hogs and had a tough shot and as I waited for a particular sow to move into the clear, the rain picked up. Just a couple of minutes after the shot, the whole field lit up with a lightning flash and I realized I needed to get back to the truck as quickly as possible.
