Planning on using some #1 steel starting out at 1500 fps. Very close range less than 30 yards from a tree stand. At that range it will penetrate one side of a steel 55 gallon drum and dent the other side. Seems like it will do the job if aimed right. Anyone else ever use steel shot for hogs?
