Hey guys, gettin to be about time to get a new pair of snake boots for hunting season here in NC. Been wearing Danner Pronghorns for years. They feel great and offer a lot of lower leg support. More worried about that than snakes, actually. Only problem being they don't stay waterproof very long. If a pair is new at the opener they'll be leaking before it's over. Then I just hafta avoid water which is a pain. Tried those neoprene types but the briars just tear'em up in short order. Bout fell over at the new prices of these things. The new Pronghorns with the zipper are $300. Saw Chippewa but they were slip ons. Which usually just rub blisters and jack with my socks in these hills.
Curious what you guys wear that has kept ya in the "happy feet" and offered good suppot.
Thanks.. d:^) Jake..
