From what I read it seemed interesting due to velocity and size of the bullet. I figured it might hit with serious power with incredible trajectory.... just wondering.

It may turn out to be great for hogs. I have my doubts, but then again I had my doubts about the Speer TNT bullets I am using. My point here is that I am not going to go out and buy a brand new caliber because it might be somewhat better at some things than what I am using. I don't need extra calibers around the house, LOL. For me, 6.5 Grendel is my general purpose hunting caliber. It does what I need to do for the stuff I am doing. Many calibers are capable of fitting this bill, but I went with Grendel. If I am going to go with a new caliber, it needs to perform significantly better than what I am using for what I am doing or I need for for a completely different task than what by Grendel is doing.
