took one of my dauthers friends yote hunting last night. Had placed a deer carcass out as bait. Well around 9 pm in comes two. I was spotted with my PVS-14 and he was shooten my POF 9.25" SBR with W-1000. We were in ground blind. The wind was all over the place. They would not come all the way into the bait. I was concerened they might have smelled us. I told Nick do,you best. Dang if he did not shoot it in the head. He told me his was aiming at the body. We took his tail. Did not bring cell,phone so no picks. (I know it did not happen). I measured the distance today. 180 yds. He got his lucky shot. 95gr TTSX load with H322. He was so excited I am not sure he got much sleep. We did salt the tail,so he could keep it.
