Well, if you put your first shot in the proper place, it helps a LOT. Usually, I find a shot to the boiler room does the trick, but it isn't 100%. When it doesn't work, they run about as well as a hog and will usually be within 100 yards, usually less.

I agree Dan even though I've never shot a coyote. Maybe bc their vitals are smaller and harder to hit than a hogs but based on size/weight, you would think they would go down easy when using a hog gun/ammo set up compared to how many of them jump and flip and run after a decent shot.
I think it's time for head shots only from here on out!
