Two of my favorite shooters is Dartman and the Neighbor. Long Range Coyotes avg 1000+yds using .338 Lapua. "1 & bang"

Half the time they're in sink. Most of the time they are not.

I agree that y0u need to work out the shooting rules ahead of the hunt. My friend Patrick and I went hog hunting several years ago. We spotted several hogs in soybeans and set up to shoot at them. One of them starts wandering off and Patrick shoots his .45-70 less than 3 feet from my right ear. I didn't even have my rifle on my shooting sticks when he pulled the trigger and did not have my hearing plugs in. He missed the hog, and my ears were ringing for days.
