I unnerstan'. I have a Win '94 ('40 vintage) in .30-30, and a Marlin Guide Gun in .45-70. I'd love to have a .22 and a .44 lever action also.

I have been looking at a few 44 mags. I really want to get a couple older leer guns too. Right now I have a pair of marlin 30-30’s and a Rossi 357

I'm wanting Henry to offer a side loading gate for their .44.

You're NOT helping!! The last time I looked, there were only a couple of offerings with a side loading gate. Wow, Henry's been listening to the people. Now I need a slobber-bib. LOL

The few times I've done any casting, I've noticed I have no tolerance for the fumes of molten lead. Gives me a headache and a nauseous feeling.

I run a fan and do it close to my garage door. Only way I can do it

I’m picking the designs for my next mold of accurate. I’m getting a light and a heavy for my 458 socom and my 45-70. I’m thinking 275-300 grain for one pair and a 475-500 grain for the other pair. Then I’ll have one of each hollow pointed. Those should be interesting

When I was in Alaska, and bought my .45-70, I bought up a few boxes of some Alaskan Bear Loads that were locally manufactured in Alaska. Supposed to be pretty stout, hard cast. Don't recall what weight they are though.
