Sometimes, you just gotta make do with the situation. I was trying to hunt between small bands of showers that were moving through my area. Showers would move in and I would return to the truck for cover until they passed and then head out stalking again. Turns out, I could have just sat in the truck and listened to the radio and been just as productive. Just as one shower was finishing, I was scanning out the window and spied this coyote out 100 yards or so. It was mousing. By the time I got out with the rifle and sticks, it was a bit farther out, but no problem...
