Quick Coyote Death

This was taken the night following the discovery of a dead calf Friday.

This is one of three coyotes that I've killed with a thermal since then. I've also shot one during the day...

...and seen two more coyotes running off. They are everywhere right now.

Looks big enough to be one of last year's pups. Kill 'em before they get smart.

I've come up on half eaten calves way too many times. Worse still, when they take the calf while being born and work on the cow while they are at it. I have lost count of how many cows and calves I have lost to coyotes. I have killed many coyotes over the last 40 years and have never and will never feel remorse or apologize to anyone for doing so. Kudos.
