Visiting the father in law to help out around the property.
2nd cut was never done so most of the surrounding fields are mostly grass several feet tall. Got out Sunday night when I saw a good sized boar. Was trying to catch up and locate him as he went in and out of the tall grass. Finally lost him before I could get a shot. As I was walking back to the house along the fence line, I heard hogs to the left and right of me, sounded like less than 20 yards away but couldn't see anything. It didn't seem like a good situation so I slunk out and called it a night.
Last night had a couple in front of house just on the border of the tall grass. They were smaller than I thought, maybe a 80 to 100 pounds, tops.
Not many follow on shot with all the tall grass. Hit one, he went about 15 yards.
