I hate big traps because it's too hard to load from them. Had 4 the other day in a trap. 2 loaded right up. Other 2 wouldn't go in the trailer. I ended up shooting the smaller one and having to rope the big one. Usually I rope the head and tie it off to the side of the trap. Then I can go in and grab the hog by the rear legs.

I dealt with the same thing loading into trailers, even from a small trap, it takes too long and they do not always cooperate.
As for a big trap, I think a guy should have one of those rodeo clown barrels and try to chase them into the trailer! lol

I've debated putting swing gates in a couple so you could trap them up in a smaller area to load. Getting the trailer at ground level helps a lot. Just the 1' jump to load in to a normal livestock trailer can be a PIA.
