Spotted a sounder near a watering hole and was able to stalk up to 40yds without being seen. 120sst did the job with two fragment wounds on her far side. Entry was two inches behind the front leg and a little high, missed the heart but she only ran about 10yds before flopping into the water. Anybody else in N. Texas seeing them out in broad daylight this often??? This was at 1:30pm!

It's been in the 80's and the ground is still pretty damp. Not a lot of rain lately. Seeing lots of piglet so must be spawning time.

Unmolested hogs are more apt to be out in daylight. Put some good pressure on them and they will likely go nocturnal.
Yes that's been my experience too. But somebody is on the place every day tending to cattle and such. Lots of piglets are around so plenty of fun to come. Maybe it's just good luck for a change!

Sure, somebody is there every day, but are they shooting pigs every day? If not, the pigs just get used to the activity. That people are around isn't sufficient to scare away wildlife.

wow that's the same for us temp wise, but drier than a dog fart. we have ~ 3k head of cattle at any one time during the year plus the calves just dropped in Dec/Jan it busy busy, but dry dry dry. Only hogs I've seen in the daylight were on downpour days they are pure night night now. Rainy season just around the corner though rains every day for at least 30 minutes.
