Harrison at ************** came up with the design years ago, so apparently DPMS has been reading the forums where he was developing the upper to support a lighter weight .308 platform, but he has 260 Rem barrels ordered also, that's what I would go for since I already have two .308's

Palmetto's isn't a lightweight version that I know of, the DPMS and ***'s are lightweight versions

I think they need to drop the price 200-300 across the board and it would be very interesting.
