At 5:50 this Morning I rolled up to the entrance to our 500 acre hay field. 70 deg, light fog and humid. Its been almost a year since I've seen any hogs from the entrance, but I always stop and look. I saw 2 dots about 400 yards away just past a higher spot in the field, then I hear the howling, and flipped on the recorder. You can barely hear it in the video, but it was crazy loud in person.

It's now 5:55. Sigh if I take a shot now its going to wake up the bosses son and his family. I think to myself, "Its almost 6 am, I'll wait them out till after 6 and maybe if Im lucky I'll see lights come on in the house and I'll be able to take them". A second later, they start moving towards the neighbors property, a pasture with cows. Darn Darn Darn.
Just as they hit the fence I pulled out a squeaker toy and let out a few chirps. Nothing they are gone. Then all of a sudden one pops back out and is heading right towards me. I flip the recorder back on. Sadly I was up wind, and no lights on in the bosses son's house, not to mention the cows in the pasture just past the dirt road. No Bang Bang!
