I went out to our property to check everything after the winter storm we had. After discovering pipe issues with the RV I went to check feeders. While heading to the second feeder my two Catahoula dogs jumped a small group of hogs. They gave chase. This one took cover in some cut cedar. Before I could get there the hog bit my female on her head. It didn’t phase her at all. I shot the hog with my .45 and dragged it out. I Checked my dog as she had blood dropping off her face. She pulled a way from me and rubbed her face in the dirt and was ready to go again. The dirt stopped the bleeding and all was good! What a great pair of dogs for the family and hunting.
