Thursday and Friday nights were quite busy for Dave and me, thought not as productive as I would have liked. Thursday found us camping out one of my properties where hogs invaded the landowner's front yard, inside the hot wire fence, but they were a no-show. Several hours later we got onto a few pigs...

Friday night, we entertained a couple of guys from the NRA show in Dallas who wanted a shot at hunting hogs. Unfortunately, they only had a very short period of time that they could hunt and the hogs did not come out while they were here. However, Dave and I again got on hogs much later the next morning...

So we ended up with 9 hogs from the two nights, which I was happy with, but it was only a small fraction of what we saw. The locations in which we were hunting did not allow for anything beyond very limited fields of fire. Either the hogs were in the field of fire, off property, out of view (terrain issues), or in with the cattle. There was not swinging through and tracking on a hog as it ran through a wide open field and taking a shot. Still, it was a good time!

Great times, good killin'... that one hog, has NO idea how lucky he is.

LOL, I love the head shot hog with the bulging eye! Now that is proof of a properly expanding bullet!
